Over ¥1.07 Billion Tender Awarded for 1,220 Electric Buses in Shenzhen

On May 15, 2026, the shortlisted candidates for Shenzhen Bus Group’s procurement project of 1,220 electric buses in Guangdong Province were publicly announced.

The project was officially launched on March 2, 2026. After brief optimization and adjustment, the tender documents were re‑released on the Shenzhen Sunshine Procurement Platform on April 17.

As stated in the previous tender notice, the project is divided into three independent lots:

Lot 1: 725 low‑floor 10–11‑metre electric buses, awarded to Skywell New Energy Automobile Group Co. Ltd. with a winning bid value of ¥630.75 million.

Lot 2: 295 high‑floor 10–11‑metre electric buses, awarded to Zhongtong Bus Co., Ltd., with a winning bid value of ¥264.851 million.

Lot 3: 200 low‑floor 8–9‑metre electric buses, awarded to BYD , with a winning bid value of ¥176 million.

In total, 1,220 electric buses will be procured under this project, with an aggregate winning bid value of ¥1.071601 million.
